Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing payrolls across multiple frequencies (weekly, monthly, etc)
  • Managing employee life-cycle changes: starters, leavers, adjustments
  • Administering statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP
  • Overseeing auto-enrolment pension submissions and compliance
  • Producing accurate payslips, reports, and year-end documentation
  • Handling client queries and liaising with HMRC professionally and promptly
  • Ensuring payroll processes remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry best practices
 
Experience:
  • Previous payroll bureau or Group payroll experience
  • Solid understanding of current UK payroll legislation
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team
