Are you looking for a hands-on role where design, innovation and manufacturing come together, with the ability to receive additional training and development, in a collaborative environment?

Their purpose-built Chesterfield site houses both the design office and manufacturing workshop, giving engineers the chance to take projects from concept to finished product – and even see equipment in use out on site.
As part of a larger group, you’ll benefit from the opportunity to receive specialist training, continuous professional development and a wide range of employee benefits.

The Role: This role is for a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys problem-solving and turning ideas into manufacturable solutions. You will work closely with the onsite manufacturing team for the design and manufacture of specialist drilling and construction equipment.

  • Produce manufacturable drawings and prototype assemblies
  • Work closely with operations teams and suppliers to optimise equipment for use and production
  • Conduct design calculations and FEA to verify strength and safety
  • Support continual improvement of existing equipment through design optimisation
