The Role: As Lead Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of requirements management, systems definition, and verification across the full engineering lifecycle. You’ll ensure technical integrity, compliance, and traceability throughout development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing project requirements using DOORs
- Defining and implementing the project’s Requirements Management and DOORS Implementation Plans
- Supporting requirements definition, apportionment, and traceability from system to sub-system level
- Producing verification and compliance documentation
- Managing verification evidence and supporting data for compliance demonstration
- Liaising with multidisciplinary engineering teams
We’re looking for:
- Experience in Requirements Management and Systems Engineering processes
- Specialist-level knowledge of DOORS
- Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian, Cameo Systems Modeller, or MATLAB
- Understanding of Electronic Warfare, RF systems, Radar, or electro-optic systems
- Strong documentation and verification experience
- Eligibility for full UK Security Clearance
