Project Manager (Renewables)
€60,000 – €85,000 + 10% Bonus + Health Insurance + Pension + Hybrid Working + Specialist Training & Development

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Project Manager based in Co. Kildare or Dublin.
This role is on a permanent basis with hybrid working options (5 days per fortnight in the office), supporting utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects across Ireland.

The Company:
We are working with a newly established and expanding team focused on the EPC of large-scale solar and BESS projects. Based in Kildare, the Irish operation combines local agility with the expertise of a global group. With a pipeline of 100MW+ projects and frameworks with major Irish developers, they are scaling from 5 to 12 staff this year and offer a collaborative, energetic culture.
The Role:
This role is for a hands-on Project Manager with a background in Renewables, Energy or Civil Engineering. You will initially focus on managing procurement and tendering processes, expanding into full project delivery as construction kicks off in late 2026.
You will act as the primary client interface, coordinating internal engineering teams and external subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You will act as the primary client interface, coordinating internal engineering teams and external subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Day to Day:
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from tender award and design through to commissioning and client handover.
- Lead procurement and tendering, interrogating documents to identify risks and coordinating responses with internal teams.
- Act as the primary client contact during construction, managing contracts (FIDIC) and administering variations or claims.
- Coordinate subcontractors (civil, electrical, mechanical) and internal engineering resources to meet milestones.
- Utilize MS Project to develop and maintain realistic tender and construction programs.
- Conduct site visits (approx. 2 days per week during construction phases) to supervise progress and quality.
- Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure project profitability and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with the German team, including receiving mentorship and attending training sessions in Germany.
- Experience: 3+ years in Project Management or a technical role (QS, Engineering, Cost Engineering) within Renewables, Energy or Civil Engineering
- Industry: Background in large-scale infrastructure; experience in Solar PV, Wind, or BESS is desirable.
- Attributes: An energetic problem-solver who thrives in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Project and a solid understanding of contract management (FIDIC or similar).
- Location: Ideally based within one hour of Leixlip to support the hybrid office/site model.
