Certain Advantage is hiring for a Plant Fitter based near Swadlincote.

This role is on a permanent basis and is both onsite in Swadlincote, as well as on-call – working out at client sites.

The Company:We’re working with a specialist contractor in foundations and ground-engineering, known for delivering complex projects nationwide. The Role:

• Complete planned and reactive maintenance on piling rigs and other construction plant equipment
• Manufacture and modify components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete fabrication and repair tasks
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
• Work on an on-call rota for field-based activities, with the remainder of your time being spent at the workshop in Swadlincote

The Individual:This role is for someone with experience working on Heavy Plant, as well as a strong background with hydraulic systems.

We’re looking for people who can show:

• Experience as a Plant Fitter, working on heavy construction plant
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Minimum level 2 qualification in Plant Maintenance, or equivalent
• Full UK Driving License
