Warehouse Operative

6 Month Initial Contract
 
Actively seeking a Warehouse Operative with previous experience in an industrial, warehouse, automotive, or aviation environment is preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong organizational skills will be considered. This is to Support aircraft engineers and technicians by ensuring parts, tooling, and materials are staged and readily available, while maintaining rigorous Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control and cleanliness in active maintenance bays.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, stage, and deliver parts, consumables, hardware, and tools to mechanics before and during active shifts, minimizing engineer downtime.
  • Organize project kits and ensure hardware packages are complete and assigned to the correct project.
  • Return specialized tools to the tool crib, ensuring accurate logging per standard operating procedures.
  • Keep work bays, benches, shadow boards, and tool carts clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Continuously inspect, sweep, and remove Foreign Object Debris, and dispose of waste, scrap, and hazardous consumables safely.
  • Wipe down and maintain support equipment such as ladders, stands, and ground power units.
 
Key Requirements & Skills
  • Background in an industrial, warehouse, automotive, or aviation environment preferred; strong, organized entry-level candidates will also be considered.
  • High vigilance regarding tool accountability and strict FOD control protocols.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) throughout the shift.
  • Clear communication skills to liaise smoothly with engineers and stores, combined with a proactive, self-starting attitude
