Supply Chain & Quality Manager
Derby, Derbyshire
12 Month contract
Rates: Negotiable (DOE)
Hours: 35 per week, worked across 4.5 days (between 7am–7pm)

Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, and operational commitments are met.
- Conduct load and capacity assessments to identify constraints.
- Lead rate readiness and industrial maturity reviews.
- Manage supply chain intelligence and escalation when required.
- Oversee transfer-of-work activities and industrialisation linked to design changes.
- Drive correction activities including non-conformity eradication, concessions, SARI/QSR actions, and event management.
- Implement preventative approaches such as APQP and Supplier Quality Improvement Plans (SQIP).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and assess operational and supply chain risks.
- Build and execute mitigation plans.
- Ensure effective governance and programme visibility.
- Strong background in aerospace, complex engineering, or industrial manufacturing.
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in practical problem-solving, recovery/crisis management, and data-driven reporting.
- Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and quality principles.
- Project management experience is beneficial.
