An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join a well-established aerospace engineering team, supporting structural analysis and modifications across a broad portfolio of aircraft wing platforms — including single aisle and widebody variants.

This role is best suited to someone with deep domain knowledge of F&DT, ideally with prior experience working to OEM standards and tooling, and preferably already holding or working toward approver status.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Approve (or contribute to) F&DT deliverables, ensuring airworthiness compliance.
  • Lead problem-solving activities across structural issues using analytical methods and sound engineering judgment.
  • Work across a range of projects, including product modifications, cost-saving initiatives, and continued airworthiness assessments.

  • Influence continuous improvement in methods, tools, and ways of working.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong background in aircraft structural analysis, with a focus on fatigue and damage tolerance.
  • Experienced with OEM-standard tools and methods (F&DT tools, ISAMI, Mathcad, etc.).
  • Knowledge of aircraft wing structures (single aisle experience preferred, widebody also welcomed).
  • Ideally holding delegated signatory/approver status, or demonstrably close to achieving it.
  • Analytical thinker with a proactive attitude and the ability to contribute ideas beyond just technical delivery.
