Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Senior QS / Commercial Manager . You will be developing procurement strategies, contract management plans and ITT processes (including supporting competitive and compliant tender submissions).
What will you be doing?
- Manage the tender process end-to-end, including preparation of documentation, commercial evaluation of bids, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value outcomes.
- Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking
- Procurement strategy development
- Commercial risk identification and pricing
- Stakeholder engagement across bid, design, and delivery teams
A couple of things you should know:
- Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects, with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred
During an interview, you may be asked about:
- Your experience developing procurement strategies
- Your exposure to tendering within major infrastructure projects
