The Role:
This role is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Leading the development of a fluid system
- Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Layout Drawings, Component Sizing Calculations, Component and Equipment Datasheets and Specifications, and other concept or detailed design-related documents
- Systems Engineering,
- Integration of system design into the wider power plant
- Act as technical support and point of contact for interfaces and stakeholders
We’re looking for people who can show:
- Nuclear sector background or other highly regulated industries such as thermal power generation, oil and gas and process sectors.
- Fluid system design development.
- FEED through to detailed design and EPC delivery.
- Development of procurement specifications and working with equipment suppliers.
- Appreciation and application of ASME, European and UK codes and standards.
- Systems Engineering
- Educational background to a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in an engineering discipline & CEng in a relevant discipline or working towards Professional Registration.
