RAMS Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for a RAMS Engineer based in the Staffordshire area.
This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.

The Role:
This role is for a RAMS Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
  • Conduct RAMS studies for HVDC projects and tenders, covering both LCC and VSC.
  • Define spare part requirements and maintenance strategies.
  • Establish and monitor RAMS study structures, processes, and KPI.
  • Chair 3D Model Reviews with a specific focus on maintainability.
  • Lead engagement with OEMs, and manage interface control documents.
  • Direct maintainability deliverables and coordinate with consultants.
The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:
  • Educational background to a degree level in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Practical exposure to performing RAMS Engineering, RAM Assessment and management, RAM “V” cycle
  • HVDC systems
