We’re working with a specialist precision engineering manufacturer supplying products to customers worldwide. Known for their technical expertise and high standards, they are now looking to appoint a Quality Engineer to strengthen their team in East Kilbride.

– 4 DAY WORKING WEEK (Mon-Thur)

The Role Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving quality, environmental, and safety standards across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Developing and implementing robust quality standards.
• Investigating issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Managing customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution.
• Conducting internal and external audits.
• Collaborating with suppliers to resolve concerns and drive improvements.
• Preparing quality reports and maintaining documentation.

About You

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• HNC in Quality or Process Engineering is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Skilled in quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, DMAIC, etc.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office and IT systems.
