Certain Advantage is collaborating with a key engineering client to recruit a Project Manager. They are looking for an organised and forward-thinking Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of large-scale engineering projects from start to finish. You will oversee a portfolio of projects across all phases: defining objectives and financial plans, coordinating designs with clients and internal teams, supervising manufacturing and installation activities, and ensuring a smooth acceptance testing and client handover process.

They are looking for an organised and forward-thinking Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of large-scale engineering projects from start to finish. You will oversee a portfolio of projects across all phases: defining objectives and financial plans, coordinating designs with clients and internal teams, supervising manufacturing and installation activities, and ensuring a smooth acceptance testing and client handover process.
What will you be doing?
- Assume accountability for projects from initial planning through to final client delivery
- Establish and track budgets, schedules, and resource plans to achieve project milestones
- Work closely with the Design Manager to ensure technical outputs align with client needs
- Create and deliver presentations of technical content to both clients and internal stakeholders, supported by applications engineers
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to manage manufacturing progress and resolve production challenges
- Act as the main liaison for clients, maintaining regular communication and fostering strong relationships
- Produce and maintain essential project documents, including Installation Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, O&M Manuals, and Test Certificates
A couple of things you should know:
- Demonstrated success in managing projects, preferably within engineering, construction, or other technical sectors
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-disciplinary teams
- Strong IT proficiency (MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP); working knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus
