The Company

The Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering complex equipment and process upgrades from concept to commissioning. You’ll also play a central role in shaping maintenance strategies, managing statutory inspections, planning outages, and leading contractor engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage project delivery: scope development, stakeholder engagement, capital applications, tendering, installation, commissioning, and close-out
- Ensure seamless documentation integration into Maintenance and Document Control systems
- Oversee statutory inspections for lifting equipment, pressure systems, boilers, and auxiliary systems
- Take ownership of key areas during planned outages, ensuring safe and efficient execution
- Work closely with Procurement to secure long-term supplier agreements and refine scopes of work
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, statutory requirements, and site safety rules
The Individual
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven Project Management skills (including use of Microsoft Project)
- Experience with predictive/preventative maintenance and RCA/NDT techniques
- Knowledge of steam turbines, generators, and statutory pressure systems
- Familiarity with CDM regulations and Maintenance Management Systems
- Solid grasp of legislative and SHEQ requirements (IOSH/NEBOSH)
