Production Coordinator – Lanarkshire – Salary up to £30,000 p/a

We are eager to speak to experienced and organised Production Coordinators who are looking for a new role in Lanarkshire. You will have experience working within a fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing, and will be able to proactively manage and coordinate production workflows. You will be a central point of contact within the business, ensuring all departments are coordinated, whilst maintaining quality and delivery KPI’s. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team within a leading manufacturing business in Lanarkshire.
 
This is a permanent opportunity with a salary between £28,000 – 30,000 p/a depending on experience. This role will follow a four-day working week working 37.5 hours, Monday – Thursday.
 
Are you who we are looking for?
  • You are an experienced Production Coordinator within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
  • You have strong communication skills both written and orally
  • You are a proactive individual, who is a problem-solver and can foresee and address potential issues
  • You have excellent time and diary management and are well organised
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel for reporting
  • You are an approachable and professional individual, who enjoys building strong business relationships
 
What is the day to day like?
  • Distributing work orders to relevant department, maximising targets
  • Monitoring and prioritising urgent work orders, consolidating work orders when required to maximise efficiency
  • Coordinating and addressing any shop-floor issues relating to work orders
  • Releasing print run in advance of the production start date
  • Reviewing ongoing productions situations and adjust
  • Streamlining operations by consolidating orders
  • Acting as a central point of communication for all information relating to work orders
  • Managing queries and resolving any production related issues
  • Prioritising items required inspection, in line with requirements
