Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations for the Civil Engineering and Structural Steelwork Division at the energy sector site.
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure successful delivery of multiple projects within time, budget, and quality targets.
- Manage, develop, and mentor site teams, ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards and company policies.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to support seamless collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the wider business development strategy.
- Monitor project progress, prepare commercial reports, and provide operational performance updates to senior management.
- Ensure effective resource planning, cost control, and budget management.
- Champion continuous improvement across all operational activities.
- Proven experience managing structural steel and civil engineering projects, preferably in high-security or regulated environments.
- Strong client and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Experience with business development and spotting commercial opportunities.
- Solid understanding of commercial reporting and operational performance metrics.
- Skilled in project planning, scheduling, and financial oversight.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations and industry standards.
