You’ll work closely with customers and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver technical assessments, vessel surveys, and innovative design solutions that enhance dockyard capability and marine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct naval architecture analyses, including stability, mooring, and structural assessments for vessels and floating infrastructure.
- Support design and modification projects to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Perform on-site vessel and dock surveys, producing clear reports and technical documentation.
- Apply classification and regulatory standards (e.g. Lloyd’s Register, DNV) to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, structural, electrical, and project engineers to deliver practical engineering outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 + years’ experience in ship design, dockyard operations, or marine system projects.
- Understanding of ship stability, hydrostatics, and marine structures.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino, GHS, or Orca3D and engineering calculations.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a proactive, team-focused mindset.
Desirable:
- Experience in dry dock or vessel survey environments.
- Knowledge of classification rules and stress analysis.
