Description of role:
We are looking to speak to experienced Legal PA’s who are looking for a new challenge in Edinburgh. You will be joining an established firm and team, on a fixed term basis, assisting fee earners daily with a variety of tasks. Ideally, you will have experience within a legal business, have a strong attention to detail and excellent time management. Within this role you will have an opportunity to support and assist a variety of teams across the firm, whilst continuing to grow and develop your skills further.

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity based in Edinburgh. The salary for this role is up to £32,000 + p/a depending on experience. You will be working core business hours, Monday – Friday on a hybrid basis.
Are you who we are looking for?
- You are an experienced PA, with experience within the legal sector
- You have a strong attention to detail
- You are a confident communicator both written and orally
- You enjoy building key business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages
- You can manage your time effectively to meet targets and deadlines
- You have strong diary management experience
- You are a confident proactive individual, who can problem solve
- You can work well individually and within a team environment to support
What is the day to day like?
- Producing correspondence, documentation and presentations daily, utilising a variety of software / systems
- Liaising with document production teams when required
- Completing all client matter and AML checks when required, liaising with finance
- Managing diaries, checking all commitments and responding to all enquiries regarding availability
- Managing all email accounts, covering holidays and actioning any urgent issues and flagging to the fee earners
- Managing meeting attendance and requirements including room booking, and technology
- Taking minutes and actions in meetings, circulating and following up when required
- Completing all administrative tasks including filing, scanning, binding and photocopying
- Managing the process for producing invoices and issuing to clients, as well as handling invoice enquiries
- Planning all travel and hotel bookings when required, reclaiming expenses
- Arranging all team training internal and externally
- Ensuring the internal system is up to date and accurate
- Liaising with a variety of teams internally, building key relationships
- Providing support to the wider PA team when required, covering holidays and sickness
