As Lead Software Engineer, you’ll manage embedded software projects across the full lifecycle—from requirements to delivery. You’ll drive technical development, support junior engineers, and contribute to continuous process improvement in a safety-critical environment.

The Role:
As Lead Software Engineer, you’ll manage embedded software projects across the full lifecycle—from requirements to delivery. You’ll drive technical development, support junior engineers, and contribute to continuous process improvement in a safety-critical environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering or related subject
- Proven experience in full lifecycle software development in aerospace, military, or automotive
- Proficient in Embedded C and MISRA C
- Experience with 8/16-bit microcontrollers (e.g., PIC18, dsPIC)
- Knowledge of digital hardware and system integration
- Strong debugging, verification, and testing (unit, integration) skills
- Familiar with DO-178C and formal documentation standards
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Lead embedded software development from design through validation
- Deliver high-quality, compliant solutions on time and to spec
- Produce technical documentation in line with industry standards
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate across functions
- Identify and implement improvements to development processes
