Description of role:
HSE Manager (Manufacturing)
£45,000 – £50,000 + development + private healthcare + benefits
Aylesford (occasional travel to Bournemouth)
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join a growing SME manufacturer within the renewable energy and hybrid power sector.
This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based in Aylesford, with occasional travel to a second site in Bournemouth.
DO you have a strong HSE background within manfacturing, looking to join a highly successful and rapidly growing business with a strong culture of innovation, collaboration and development of people?
Do you want a hands-on role where you can build and develop a function, introduce new ideas, and make a real impact in a business that’s investing in people, systems and sustainability?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a UK manufacturer that designs, builds and delivers innovative hybrid power and electrification systems for marine, vehicle and off-grid markets. You’ll be joining at an exciting point of growth following the move to a new purpose-built headquarters, with the chance to take ownership of HSE across two UK sites and shape the function for the future.
The Company:
This is a fast-growing SME that’s firmly positioned at the heart of the UK’s energy transition. Their purpose-built facility in Aylesford brings together production, engineering, and support teams, while a smaller site in Bournemouth supports the business’s wider product range. The company has a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and quality, developing integrated energy solutions for both UK and international clients. You’ll be joining a business that values collaboration, initiative and continuous improvement.
The Role:
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy and variety. You’ll lead all aspects of health, safety and environmental management across both sites, for a total workforce of circa 85 people, embedding a positive safety culture and supporting ISO systems maintenance and development (9001, 45001 and planned 14001).
