HR Systems Information Analyst

Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our client in Leeds for an HR Information Analyst on permanent basis.

The team are based in Leeds and there is an expectation of visiting the office once a week.

This role can be considered on fulltime or a part-time basis for a minimum 3 days.

The purpose of the role is to work with the People Team and stakeholders across the business ensuring all systems & data owned and used by the People Team is user friendly, accurate and up to date.

This isn’t just a data entry role thought. You’ll be an important member of the People team helping the business make data-informed decisions. You’ll provide people data analysis and insights to support decision making for the business, contributing to the People team in creating the best environment for colleagues to thrive.

Typical responsibilities will include

  • Owning all data and information that is contained within the HR Information System (HRIS); taking responsibility for the accuracy and consistency and utilizing the system to it’s full capability as this will support the BI Team with reporting.
  • Develop people data models to help decision making for the People team and senior management.
  • Providing People related reports, KPI’s and automating this where possible.
  • Take on the role of superuser of the HRIS and other associated tech platforms used by the People Team.
  • Take ownership of the content within a People Dashboard that has been developed already by the BI team, and take responsibility for its continuous improvements (working closely with BI Team).
  • Work with finance and the client facing departments to ensure the right targets are set each quarter, and that they are up to date and accurate in the HRIS.
  • Working with other departments looking at qualitative and qualitative data to analyse people-related information e.g. performance/underperformance, calculating bonus achievement, staff turnover, gender pay Gap analysis, helping recruitment to identify recruitment trends.
  • General compliance reporting for People Team.

What we’re looking for

  • Ability to turn data into insight; understanding commercial data and how to interpret/analyse and present your findings to a varied audience.
  • Proficient with data analytics tools (eg Power BI and SQL)
  • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point
  • Good knowledge of HR Systems (HRIS and other people related portals eg benefits, Intranets etc)
  • Highly organised and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Ideally you’ll have worked within an HR/People environment but other departments will still be considered.
