Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for managers seeking guidance on complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, wellbeing, TUPE, restructures, redundancies).
- Manage employment tribunal claims, including early conciliation with ACAS, drafting responses, evidence collation, and preparing witness statements.
- Provide advice on settlement agreements, contractual changes, and employment law updates.
- Maintain and update HR policies and the Employee Handbook in line with legal requirements.
- Support HR Business Partners and wider stakeholders with people projects and change programmes.
- Analyse and report on ER trends and casework to support decision-making.
- Promote best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement in all HR processes.
- Proven track record gained in either an HR. ER or Employment Law environment
- CIPD qualification (or considering working towards) OR equivalent hands-on ER experience.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Organised, resilient, and able to work independently.
- Compassionate, credible, and a trusted advisor with the confidence to challenge where necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
