Fluid System Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Fluid System Engineer to join a major nuclear project based in Somerset.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fluid System Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical and thermo-hydraulic system design documentation. You will contribute to the design, instrumentation, and control of critical systems while engaging with internal stakeholders and supporting procurement and supplier management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing and updating system documentation covering mechanical, thermo-hydraulic, safety, control logic, operator interface, and environmental aspects.
* Defining and documenting Instrumentation & Control (I&C) logic, including functional requirements, diagrams, test procedures, and alarm/operating modes.
* Performing component sizing (e.g. pumps, fans, valves), thermal-hydraulic modelling, and ensuring 3D model alignment with system intent.
* Supporting procurement by preparing equipment specifications and reviewing supplier documentation.
* Analyzing design inputs and incorporating lessons learned from other stations.
* Interfacing with stakeholders across various disciplines
* Managing design modifications using engineering change tools and providing robust technical solutions.
