Fabricator/Welder Supervisor
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Hands-on Fabricator/Welder Supervisor based in the Skelmersdale area. This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.
The Company
We’re working with a manufacturer of bespoke equipment and assemblies serving a range of markets including Subsea, Nuclear, and Heavy Manufacturing.
The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced, hands-on Fabricator/Welder with supervisory experience who takes pride in high-quality workmanship. You’ll be responsible for fabricating and welding to a high standard—mainly MIG, with TIG skills an advantage—while also leading a small team to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
The Individual
We’re looking for people who have:
Time-served experience in fabrication and welding
Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings
Proven supervisory experience (managing 5–6 team members)
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management
The Benefits
Competitive hourly rate from £20.00 – £22.00 (dependent on experience)
39-hour day shift, Monday to Friday
Overtime paid at x1.3
