Driver (Goods & Materials)

Initially, a few weeks’ contract
Certain Advantage is partnering with a shipbuilding company to recruit an experienced Driver to join a logistics team based in Port Glasgow. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and materials between two sites. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HGV to transport goods and materials
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to company sites
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Load and unload goods safely, securing cargo as required
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Liaise professionally with customers and site staff
Your Background:
- Experience driving an HGV
- Knowledge of UK road transport laws and regulations
- Good level of physical fitness (manual handling may be required
- Strong time management and communication skills
