Conveyancing Team Manager
📍 Central Stockport | 🕘 Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid working available after training

A well-established conveyancing operation is looking for an experienced Team Manager with a strong background in residential property law and people leadership. If you’re confident managing a busy legal team, improving performance, and delivering a great client experience, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Leading a team of property lawyers, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery

  • Coaching and mentoring team members to support their development and performance

  • Managing workload distribution, productivity, and compliance with service standards

  • Overseeing performance reviews, personal development plans, and regular one-to-ones

  • Handling early-stage client queries or complaints in line with internal processes

  • Collaborating with other managers to drive continuous improvement

  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and third parties to maintain strong working relationships

  • Participating in salary and budget reviews alongside senior leadership

  • Ensuring adherence to internal policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For:
  • Significant experience in residential conveyancing

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a legal team

  • Strong people skills with a focus on development and performance management

  • A proactive, organised approach and attention to detail

  • Confident decision-maker with excellent communication skills
