Conveyancing Assistant – Respected Local Firm

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm looking for a proactive Conveyancing Assistant to support their busy property team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll assist a senior fee earner with a variety of administrative tasks related to property transactions. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to grow their career in conveyancing.

Our client has a strong local reputation and is known for providing reliable, client-focused legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with residential property transactions from start to finish
  • Drafting legal documents and handling post-completion tasks
  • Completing ID checks and anti-money laundering procedures
  • Managing and updating case files throughout the transaction
  • Communicating with clients, agents, and solicitors to coordinate progress
  • Responding to enquiries by phone, email, and in person
  • Ordering searches and supporting exchange and completion processes
  • Opening, closing, and archiving files as needed
  • Taking part in relevant training to stay compliant and informed
What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a conveyancing support or similar legal admin role
  • Good working knowledge of conveyancing processes
  • Strong organisation and admin abilities with attention to detail
  • Able to manage a busy workload independently
  • Clear communicator with a proactive, professional approach
