Opportunity for a Project Manager with a deep technical foundation in construction or building services. This is a great chance to manage projects of scale within one of the world’s leading aerospace organizations.
 
The Role
As the Building & Construction Project Leader, you are the bridge between the boardroom and the building site. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of critical infrastructure projects, major plant replacements, and facility refurbishments.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initial feasibility and business case approval through to design, specification, and final handover.
  • Experience of End-to-End CAPEX Management
  • Set up and manage Multi-Functional Project Teams (MFTs), including external architects, QS, and structural engineers.
  • Proactively manage project delivery plans, identifying risks before they become issues and optimizing costs without compromising quality.
  • Conduct audits and monitor progress on-site, ensuring absolute adherence to H&S matters (CDM 2015) and technical specifications.
 
 
Required Experience:
  • Extensive experience in a Senior PM role, specifically managing Capital Investment (CAPEX) projects.
  • You understand the complexities of working within a corporate/client environment
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders, internal customers, and external professionals.
 
Qualifications:
  • HNC/ONC or equivalent in Building Engineering Services or a related design discipline.
  • Membership in CIBSE, IMechE, IET, or APM is preferred.
  • Experience in Defence or highly regulated industrial environments is highly preferred.
  • SMSTS or CCNSG is highly desirable.
  • NEBOSH experience or certification is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and G-Suite/SharePoint
