We are seeking an organised and proactive CAD Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team. This is a key role requiring strong communication, technical ability, and a hands-on approach to managing and coordinating drawing workflows across departments.
You’ll work closely with production and engineering teams, supporting new product introductions and ongoing improvements to existing designs.

You’ll work closely with production and engineering teams, supporting new product introductions and ongoing improvements to existing designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Generate component and assembly drawings to industry standards
- Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with production and engineering on product development and continuous improvement
- Manage and maintain CAD file structures
- Support feasibility reviews and product performance discussions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
- Proficient in SolidWorks and Excel (Mastercam experience a plus)
- £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
- Permanent, full-time role
- 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday) – 37.5 hours on dayshift
- 262.5 hours paid annual leave
