Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices, fee notes and cheques
- Manage payments of client funds and supplier invoices
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Respond to fee earner finance queries promptly and professionally
- Assist with monthly financial analysis
- Prepare regular management reports
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with Law Society regulations and internal financial controls
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and administrative duties
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant role
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong academic background
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently, using initiative to solve problems
- Flexible approach to workload and task management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
