You will be taking ownership of key financial close processes, balance sheet reviews, lease accounting, and multi-site financial management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lease Accounting & Audit Support: Own day-to-day lease accounting processes, ensuring strict compliance and supporting successful quarterly audit reviews.
- Manage monthly payroll journals, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial execution.
- Complete monthly and quarterly corporate reports via Financial Close Manager; manage the complete close-the-books process for the Kent site.
- Prepare and present Balance Sheet reviews during month-end close meetings; prepare the annual Tax Pack and PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) returns.
- Analyze monthly Profit in Inventory (PII) variances to provide actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor financial regulations, maintain internal control frameworks, and resolve reporting variances to safeguard data integrity.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, combined with ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification (Qualified or Part-Qualified).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel is essential. Experience with Oracle, Power BI, and Power Query is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated understanding of UK financial regulations, tax packs, lease accounting, and internal control frameworks.
- Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to key business stakeholders.
