Certain Advantage is seeking a Designer / Draughtsperson to produce high-quality technical drawings and designs.
Role Overview
You will join the Design team to assist the Project Manager in developing drawings from initial concept layouts through to production-ready documentation. You will also prepare full engineering packages, including general arrangement drawings in AutoCAD, 3D assemblies and models in SolidWorks, and structured bills of materials.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation using CAD software.
- Translate specifications, sketches, and design concepts into practical, production-focused engineering solutions.
- Develop and issue Bills of Materials to support manufacturing and procurement.
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to help deliver projects within agreed timescales.
- Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Update and amend drawings and models in response to client feedback, design reviews, and changing project needs.
Required Experience & Skills
- Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and technical drawing conventions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised, with effective time management and the ability to deliver work to deadlines.
