Certain Advantage is hiring for a Project Manager based in Portsmouth. This role is on An initial 12 month contract basis and is office-based.
 
Role Overview
Ensure their projects comply with Health and Safety regulations; the health and safety of all personnel engaged in a project shall be paramount.
Build collaborative relationships with colleagues in other functions, utilising synergies and maximising re-use with other projects wherever appropriate.
Manage all project information in accordance with the relevant Project Management Plan and the BMS.
 
 
Responsibilities

• Project Managers shall lead the multi-function project team to deliver OQOTOC.
• Project Managers shall build beneficial relationships with customers:
• Identify threats to customer satisfaction and initiate effective mitigation actions.
• Interface with internal & external Customers.
• Provide regular status reporting.
• Negotiate changes.
• Act to promote customer satisfaction.
• Project Managers shall develop the project plan:
• Create a project team environment that will promote success through proactive planning.
• Confirm requirements with the Customer to define scope.
• State the methods that shall be employed in the execution of the project, utilising standard Company processes and procedures.
• Define the work breakdown structure and agree work packages with the multi-function project team.

• Ensure a Risk Register is in place and that it is updated regularly.
• Minimise the dependency on schedule and financial contingencies with use of appropriate mitigation actions.
