Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Stevenage (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months (likely extension)
Rate: Negotiable (DOE)
– Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key part in developing advanced electronic solutions for complex weapon systems, covering both on-board subsystems and land, sea, and air-based firing units.
Responsibilities include:
Defence experience is ideal, but not essential. Candidates from complex engineering, aerospace, automotive, industrial, or high-reliability electronics environments will also be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities include:
- Leading and delivering end-to-end electronic design packages
- Taking responsibility for performance, quality, cost, and schedule for your designs
- Working across Power and Analogue Electronics at board and subsystem level
- Collaborating closely with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Environmental, and EMC teams
- Ensuring designs meet all technical and environmental requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering
- Significant experience in electronic design, development, and delivery
- Proven ability to lead sizeable design work packages
- Strong problem-solving skills and broad knowledge of electronic technologies
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across teams
