Electrical Fitter
Bolton
Hourly Rate + upto ( £400 per week accommodation bonus for candidate is travelling from more than 30 miles away)
6 – 12 Months (to begin with and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)
Certain Advantage are working in partnership with a large engineering company who operate within the defense sector and are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to work on site in Bolton.
As an Electrical Fitter will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing and test tasks within the electrical department, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.
What will you be working on:
• Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
• Cable rework and surface mount rework.
• Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
• Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
• Carry out detailed assembly, undertaking all work to safety requirements and agreed timescales.
And couple more things you should know how to do:
• Possess experience in electrical fitting, wiring, and assembly.
• Demonstrated ability / willingness to certify own work in line with company quality standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a good housekeeping policy.
• Maintain to the highest level, standards, and product quality.
• Willing to contribute to an environment of process improvement.
