Position: Accounts Assistant
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently process supplier invoices in line with company procedures and timelines
  • Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and proactively resolve invoice queries
  • Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
  • Maintain and update supplier records to ensure all information is current and accurate
  • Provide support to the wider finance team during month-end close, including reporting and reconciliations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to both internal and external finance-related queries
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of day-to-day transactional finance processes
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel and proficient across the wider Microsoft Office suite
  • A high level of accuracy and precision in handling numerical data, with a keen eye for spotting discrepancies
  • A genuine eagerness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges in a dynamic finance environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support others
