A leading environmental services company is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at a key facility. This role combines operational leadership with a strong focus on health, safety, environmental compliance, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise operations team and contractors to meet safety and performance targets
• Lead on SHEQ compliance, incident investigations, and workplace safety
• Coordinate outages, DCS operations, and maintenance planning
• Support training, team development, and operational improvement initiatives
• Act as Incident Controller during emergencies
• Ensure adherence to Environmental Permit conditions and safe systems of work

Experience & Qualifications:

• Fully authorised (or working towards) to operate an EfW facility and SAP Level 2 Safety Rules
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant operations or maintenance (preferably large boiler and rotating plant)
• Strong leadership, people management, and conflict resolution skills
• HNC or equivalent in a technical or science discipline
• NEBOSH / IOSH qualified (or working towards)
• Competent with HV switching, risk assessments, and CMMS platforms (e.g., Nisoft, Gladis)
