This role is for a dynamic Capital Delivery Project Manager —someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.
You’ll be reporting to Manufacturing Lead and be responsible for:
- Managing and undertaking the capital delivery process from initial feasibility and preparing project briefs, through to appointing design consultants, preparing tender documentation, procuring and appointing consultants and contractors and then managing the works on-sites.
The Individual – We’re looking for people who can show:
- To prepare feasibility studies and business cases in respect of capital projects.
- To commission, procure and manage capital and revenue small construction and maintenance works projects on behalf of both Council’s, in accordance with the specification and project programme.
- To positively contribute to the end-to-end process of delivering capital projects.
- Experienced in managing project between £5m-£10m
- Manage the risk assessments and method statement process in relation to major works, comment as appropriate and sign-off in relation to works activities.
- Engage with stakeholders and manage consultation process with regards projects and regeneration opportunities.
